Hampshire Boy Stars In New Book
The story of how a stray dog changed the life of a Hampshire boy is going to print.
Owen is the star of the new book 'Hatchi and Little B'.
He suffers from a rare disease called Scwhwatrz Jampel Syndrome, he is wheelchair and he used to be reluctant to leave the house.
Now, that's all changed and Dad Will Howkins says he noticed a difference in Owen almost immediately:
''Within about two weeks of getting Hatchi he was actively trying to drag me out of the house to take Hatchi for a walk.
''It was something different for other people to look at as opposed to Owen.
He was gaining confidence from talking to people about the dog and he loved it.''
